Ween

Ween is the most genre-fluid band in rock history. Aaron Freeman (Gene Ween) and Mickey Melchiondo (Dean Ween) formed the band as teenagers in New Hope, Pennsylvania in 1984, initially releasing a flood of lo-fi cassette tapes before signing to Twin/Tone Records in 1990. Their nine studio albums span country, psychedelia, heavy metal, R&B, prog rock, funk, gospel, and pure noise — sometimes within a single record.
