Peter Gabriel co-founded Genesis in 1967 and was the band's theatrical frontman through their most adventurous progressive rock period. After leaving in 1975 he built one of the most artistically significant solo careers in rock music. His third self-titled album produced Biko and Games Without Frontiers. His fourth, Security, explored African and electronic rhythms ahead of almost anyone in mainstream rock. So in 2003 remains one of the most sonically adventurous records of the 1980s and produced Sledgehammer and In Your Eyes. He has spent four decades at the intersection of music, technology, and activism.
