Turnstile

Turnstile formed in Baltimore, Maryland in 2010, emerging from the city's hardcore scene before evolving into something that defied easy categorization. Vocalist Brendan Yates, guitarists Pat McCrory and Meg Mills, bassist Franz Lyons, and drummer Daniel Fang built a sound that merged hardcore energy with funk grooves, pop melody, and genuine songcraft. Glow On (2021) earned three Grammy nominations and appeared on nearly every major year-end list. Never Enough (2025) debuted in the top 10 in five countries and earned five Grammy nominations — making Turnstile the first band nominated in rock, alternative, and metal categories in the same year. They won Grammy Awards for Best Metal Performance and Best Rock Album at the 2026 ceremony. They have toured with Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance and headlined festivals worldwide.
