The semi-hollow electric that defined the jangly sound of British Invasion and post-punk guitar. Pete Townshend, Roger McGuinn of The Byrds, and Paul Weller of The Jam all made the 360 central to their sound. Its distinctive 12-string version created the chiming tone that influenced generations of guitarists.
