Boz Scaggs released Silk Degrees in 1976, one of the defining records of the yacht rock era. The session band assembled for Silk Degrees — which included David Paich, Jeff Porcaro, and David Hungate — went on to form Toto. Lowdown and Lido Shuffle spent months on the Billboard charts.
