Cage the Elephant
Cage the Elephant formed in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 2006, centered on brothers Matt and Brad Shultz who began writing songs together as kids in a trailer park after their parents divorced. Their 2008 self-titled debut announced a band with serious punk energy and serious melodic instincts in equal measure. They moved to London briefly before breaking through in America, earning two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album — for Tell Me I'm Pretty in 2017 and Social Cues in 2020. Seven of their songs have reached number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
